I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth.

I have an MA in Publishing (Distinction) from Kingston University, London. My BA (Hons) in Humanities with Classical Studies and Art History is from the Open University.
I am a co-director of
Sabrestorm Stories, a partnership-publishing house, which offers all aspects of publishing, including editing, book and cover design, and book distribution. I have recently qualified as a Certified Celebrant. This new branch of my work is very exciting as I officiate at weddings, renewal of vows, birthday celebrations, baby/child naming ceremonies, boat launches, new home or company naming celebrations and much else!
